We are ahead of schedule with the Undergrove project and are planning to fulfill your order this summer!

Pledge Manager Will Be Closed & Locked for Undergrove

We are closing and locking for this campaign on BackerKit. Order data is now being prepared for the fulfillment process. 

Address changes will not be possible after Friday May 17th If you need to change your address, do it now.

After the campaign has closed & locked you will not be able to make changes to your order (changing Rewards, adding or removing add-ons, etc.) Please make any desired changes to your order before May 17th.

After the campaign is closed & locked any orders that have not completed the check out process will be cancelled.

This campaign is being managed on BackerKit. You can log into BackerKit with the email address you provided to Kickstarter when you backed this campaign and see the status of your order. If you have not received any email from BackerKit about your order you should log in to BackerKit immediately to determine the status of your order. Even if you paid for a Reward on Kickstarter you will still need to complete the order checkout process on BackerKit in order to receive your Reward.

Orders which have not been completed on BackerKit will be cancelled on Monday May 27th; if your order is incomplete on that date, it will be cancelled.

We intend to charge credit cards for orders for this campaign on Wednesday May 29th

Order information will be transmitted to the Depots shortly thereafter giving them about a month to prepare to fulfill. We cannot change addresses for orders once they've been transmitted to the Depots.

This campaign is scheduled to be fulfilled in July and/or August of 2024.

We will deliver your order to the address of record for your order as of May 17th. If you are unable to receive your order at that address please make other arrangements now to avoid a failure to deliver. Please see the Terms & Conditions portion of the main Kickstarter page for this campaign for more details.

Hey Undergrovers,

I just wanted to share some very exciting news that the presses are rolling on Undergrove!

I personally received a copy of the packaging, and storage boxes to look at, and everything look great! We have two members of the team actually in China while the presses are going, checking all of the products on the spot.

Here is a photo our team took of some of the products being packed. 

Another piece of exciting news is that Undergove is now available to play on Board Game Arena to those who have access to play games that are in Beta development! For those of you that don’t, perhaps you know someone who does that can start a game with you.

Opening BackerKit for Pledge Management Services & Late Orders

We are in the process of opening BackerKit for pledge management for the Undergrove campaign. The first part of this process is called the "Smoke Test", where a small number of backers are sent links to their orders so that we can detect any problems before the whole backer audience is invited to manage their orders. The Smoke Test for Undergrove started this morning. Assuming nothing goes wrong, we'll tell Backer Kit to transmit invitations to all backers soon.

You will receive an email from BackerKit shortly with a link to your order on the pledge manager. In the pledge manager you can change your Reward, add and subtract items from your order, provide your fulfillment address and pay for any outstanding balance. If you pay via PayPal your payment will be processed immediately. If you pay via credit card your payment will be processed about 2 months prior to fulfillment of the campaign; we will notify backers when we are ready to charge credit cards.

A couple of notes about the pledge manager:

  • If you see an outrageous fee for shipping in the final screen of checkout, it means that either your order is too heavy and it needs to be split into multiple orders, or you have selected a delivery address that we don't ship to and you'll need to either change to a country we do and arrange freight forwarding, or contact us and ask for a full refund.
  • For reference, we only ship to the US; Canada; the member states of the EU plus Norway, Switzerland and Lichtenstein; the UK; Japan; South Korea; Taiwan; China (including Macau and Hong Kong); Australia and New Zealand. You can read more about our shipping policies in the "Shipping" section of the campaign main  page.
  • If your order is too heavy and you need to make multiple orders you can read how to do that here.
  • If you used an AppleID and you elected not to share your email address, the email address that is on file for you in BackerKit is unusable; nobody can email you except Kickstarter. Please contact us via email at [email protected] to provide a usable email address.
  • If you chose the $5 Reward or the "No Reward" Reward you will need to change your Reward on your order in BackerKit to either of the two Rewards that include copy of Undergrove before you can do anything useful with your order. You can find instructions on how to do that at this link.

If you had signed up for our Newsletter during the campaign you qualified for the Holiday Trees promotional item. We have already added the Holiday Trees to your order. If you did not qualify or if you want to order additional copies of the Holiday Trees you can add them to your order as add-ons. If you believe that you qualified for the Holiday Trees and you did not receive them on your order please email [email protected].

If you don't receive an email from BackerKit by the end of this week (the 12th) you should see the campaign listed in your BackerKit account if you used the same email to make a BackerKit account as you used on Kickstarter. If you have not already created a BackerKit account you can do so here. Use the same email you used on Kickstarter. If you still can't locate your order try the procedures on this link from BackerKit.

If you believe that the total order cost including tax & shipping was unfairly explained to you during the campaign you can request a full refund by emailing [email protected].

We have also opened the Late Orders functionality on BackerKit which enables people who did not make a pledge on Kickstarter to create an all new order. (If you are a Kickstarter backer do not make a new order using this system!)

Coasters! And Happy Holidays!

Hello Undergrovers!

Just a short update. The First part is to let everyone know that AEG is closed for the holidays after today (15th December) and reopens on 3rd January and so we will not be around to answer questions or enquiries during that period.

From all of us, we wish you all the very best for the holidays.

Secondly, we just wanted to give you all a sneak peak at the coasters, so, without further ado, here is the Bellybutton Hedgehog in all its coastery glory to give you an idea of what they will look like!

What happens next?

  • Kickstarter will charge your credit card in the next few days. If your card fails, Kickstarter will retry it several times in the following week
     
  • Late Orders for those who missed the campaign will open as soon as we have completed setup with BackerKit. We expect Late Orders to go live next week (starting Monday the 12th) but it may take a few days. We will post an Update when the Late Orders goes live. DO NOT MAKE A LATE ORDER IF YOU MADE A KICKSTARTER PLEDGE
     
  • The Pledge Manager order system for Kickstarter backers will be opened about six weeks from today, with the exact date depending on when Kickstarter transmits the funds from this campaign to us. You will receive an Update and an email from us when BackerKit is ready to being processing your Kickstarter orders. Until then, you do not need to take any action.
     
  • We’ll Update you periodically over the next year when the campaign hits a major milestone. The next major milestone will be when we begin the production process by approving files; that will happen several months from now.
     
  • Please visit alderac.com/kickstarter for the most up to date info on this and all our campaigns; that site is your best source for progress information and anything else you need to know about the campaign and we update it every time we have any new information to report.
     

When the Pledge Manager is ready to process your Kickstarter order, you will be sent an email from the Pledge Manager (BackerKit) with a link to access your order. Use that link to complete the checkout process. You can change your Reward, and include add-ons with your Reward. The system will calculate the amount due for shipping & tax and present you with a final total at checkout.

BackerKit does NOT charge credit cards at the checkout step. It does process PayPal payments immediately. For people paying by credit card, we will charge your card in the future; we’ll email you to let you know when we will be running those credit card charges before we do so.

APPLE ID USERS: Please note - if you use your Apple ID to access Kickstarter and you chose to have Apple hide your email, the email address we receive from Kickstarter is useless. Neither we, nor the Pledge Manager can contact you via email about your order. Please email [email protected] for assistance if you have your account configured in this manner.

WHY IS SHIPPING TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS?

If you reach the checkout of your order and you see a shipping price of ten thousand dollars it means one of two things. Either you have attempted to have the order delivered to a country we don’t service (see the Shipping section of the main campaign for details) or the total weight of your order has exceeded the max weight we will ship in one box and you’ll need to split your order into multiple orders. See below for instructions on how to do that.
